TOPIC 1: what are you plans like study, job, marriage…in the future.
Can you write 300ws about your plans and dream in the real life?

I’m a junior of HCM City of Open University, my main major is accountant. Here
is my plan for 4 years studying at Open University:
In the first year, the curriculum does not have many subjects with specialized
knowledge, that’s why I can spend more time to adopt with new environment in the
city, in my new school and learn how to make friend and communicate with
strange friends. There are many changed things around me. Besides that, I have to
attend in as many clubs as I can, for instance, soft skills club, sport club, etc in
order to widen my relationship with schoolmates and roommates as well. However,

I will not forget studying to get high score in any subjects at school.
In the second year, I try my best to study English language, participate in English
club in my school to have an extra course and practice listening and speaking skills
because I think it is necessary for me to find a good job in the future. I need to get
Toeic certification at point 4.5 because of my graduated condition. I believe that if
I do a good job in English, I would have a good salary in a foreign company.
In the third year, this time is to concentrate to study because I have many
specialized knowledge subjects. I have to do market research and survey to
discover needed information supporting to my subjects. That’s why I don’t have
time to hang out with friends and other things.
In the last year, there will be more challenges, it will be marked my life as the busy
student lifetime. I have to do many things preparing for my graduation, work on
project and protect my project before my teachers and instructors in order to go the
next step after finishing school. I will find a suitable job with a high salary to
support my life and my family. I decided that I will do my best to succeed.
All my goals are to help me create motivation for my graduation. I prefer good
certification to get high salary to meet my needs in the future. My big dream is to
become a official staff for Four Big Company which is a biggest company in the
world.

TOPIC 2: can you describe a traditional wedding which you have been
or joined at the wedding party. If you want to get married, what will you
calebrate a traditional wedding party or a modern wedding party?
Wedding is a traditional custom in Vietnam. Wedding party is usually organized on
a good day in a year. Many people believe that if the wedding is opened on a good

day, it would bring many benefits and happiness to bride and bridegroom. From the
bridegroom’s family, they will have to prepare the betrothal gifts such as: wine,
Phu The cake, betel and areca, roast pork, etc, and bring to the bride’s family
asking for marrying. The wedding party often happens in the bride’s family first,
then bridegroom’s family will come and pick up the bride to their house. In
addition, Christian people always set up their wedding party at the Church with
traditional way following their Catholic rule.
Nowadays, Vietnamese traditional wedding is organized at famous or normal
restaurants depending on their finance. They often invite their relatives and friends
to attend in the wedding party to give congratulation and best wish to them. When
they attend in the wedding party, they can give bride and bridegroom wedding
money, gifts, etc. Regarding to the wedding dress, we can see that the traditional
wedding dress is so different from 10 years ago to the present time. Moreover, it is
different in other places. For example, In the north of Vietnam, the traditional
wedding dress are Vay Linh, Ao Tu Than, Yem Dao and Khan Dong. In contrast,
Ao Ba Ba or Ao Dai are used for both bride and bridegroom with colorful clothes
and variety pattern.
In today’s wedding party, Bride and bridegroom prefer western’s wedding dress
than traditional clothes. They think it more comfortable and convenient, especially,
it is more beautiful than the traditional dress. Bride dresses White, Pink, Yellow
sories, she has so many color choices and
bridegroom can dress vest, comle. However, traditional wedding dress is always to
be a good choice, because this is Vietnamese wedding. Bride and bridegroom will
have a week honeymoon after finishing the wedding party.
