Period 104 REVISION FOR THE SECOND TERM
A. AIMS:
I. OBJECTIVES:By the end of the lesson Ss will gain
• Knowledge:
- Vocabulary: The vocabulary in the lesson from unit 9 to unit 16
- Grammar: phrasal verbs,adverbial clause of time
- Skills: writing, reading, speaking
II. TEACHING AIDS:
• Teacher’s preparation: lesson plan, handout
• Students’ preparation: text books, revising the lesson at home

. I.Presentation
-Ask Ss to review the use,form of phrasal verbs and
adverbial clause of time.
-Elicit from Ss that
Phrasal verbs have two terms:non-idiomatic
meaning,and idiomatic meaning
Form:
• V + Pre + O
• V + particle + O
• V + particle

-Ask Ss to give some examples.
II.Practise:

What are you going to do?
-Ask Ss to do the exercise in pairs in 5 minutes.
-Go round to help.
-Call on some Ss to report the result.
-Ask the others to give the comment.
-Give the correction.
