- Một thói quen, một chân lí hay một sự thật hiển nhiên.
- Công việc thường xảy ra ở hiện tại không bao giờ thay đổi.
- Cách chia: (+) S + V-s/es + O
(-) S + Do/ Does + Vnguyên thể + O
(?) Do/ Does + S + Vnguyên thể + O ?
2.Thì hiện tại tiếp diễn: Dùng để diễn tả hành động đang diễn ra tại thời điểm ta
đang nói.
- Cấu trúc: S + TOBE + V- ing
( am, is, are)
- Cách chia: Giống cách chia của TOBE ở thì hiện tại đơn.
3.Cấu trúc: TOBE + GOING TO + V-nguyên thể dùng để diễn tả:
- Ý định sẽ làm việc gì trong tương lai.( TLai dự định)
- Sự việc sắp xảy ra trong tương lai. ( TLai gần)
- Cách chia: Giống cách chia của TOBE ở thì hiện tại đơn.
4.Thì TLai đơn: Dùng để diễn tả hành động sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai.
- Cấu trúc: S + Will + Vnguyên thể
- Cách chia: (+) S + Will + Vng.thể
(-) S + Will + not + Vng.thể
(?) Will + S + Vng.thể ?
5.Chú ý: Câu có:
- Always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never, every, once, twice, three
times hoặc chỉ nhu cầu, sở thích, trạng thái thường dùng thì HTại đơn.
- Now, at this time, at the moment, at present, right now, sau mệnh lệnh hoặc hành
động khác với thói quen thường ngày có liên từ BUT ta dùng thì HTại
TDiễn.
- Tonight, tomorrow, soon, someday, one day, next + N ( next week, next month,
next year,next summer, next Sunday ) , ta dùng thì TLai.

- Cách dùng: Dùng để chỉ quyền sở hữu của ai về danh từ đứng sau nó.
9.Cách nói "CÓ":
- Không chủ ngữ: THERE IS + N(so it)
THERE ARE + N(so nhieu)
- Có chủ ngữ: S+HAVE/ HAS+N
10. This, that, these, those:
- Được dùng như tính từ chỉ định khi nó đứng trước danh từ.( this book, that
chair )
- Được dùng như đại từ chỉ định khi nó đứng một mình, làm chủ ngữ hoặc tân

11.Các giới từ( prepositions)
- Vào buổi, tháng, năm, mùa ta dùng IN.
- Vào thứ trong tuần, tháng có ngày, dịp lễ, trên đường phố, ta dùng ON.

- Đến một nơi nào đó ta dùng TO.
