Tet is the most important celebration for Vietnamese people. It is celebrated according to Lunar
Year, so it is called “ The Lunar New Year holiday’. When Tet comes nearer, people feel more
excited. On New Year’s Eve, people sit till midnight to welcome the New Year. Tet is a chance for
all family members to gather and enjoy themselves. At Tet, streets, offices, public places, and homes
are decorated beautifully. Everything is tidied cleaner, special food is cooked such as sticky rice
cakes, spring rolls…Flowers are arranged everywhere in all the country.
