SUPER IMPOSED SEAM

SEAM DEFINITION:
There is a seam performed by the placing one fabric over the other and sewing along the edges.
EQUIPMENT’S AND MATERIALS:

STEPS FOLLOWED:
• Step one: Cut two pieces of fabric according to A and B
• Step two: Join two fabric with back-tack leaving 1 cm gap
USES:
 Attaching fabrics.
 Collar, Cuff sewing, Cuff topstitching.
 Collar band attach sewing and top stitching
 Side seam and sleeve attach with safety-sticker.

SEAM DEFINITION:
There is a seam performed by the placing one fabric over another and sewing along the edges


onto 0.5cm and then fold to the opposite of stitching edge then make another sewing by 1 cm on that.

 Collar/ Cuff sewing/ Cuff topstitching.
 Collar band attach sewing and top stitching

SEAM DEFINITION:
When two pieces of fabric adjust with another fabric to a pipe structure is called piped seam.

• Step one: keep 3pices of fabric(6*6*2)a,b & (6*2*1)c
• Step two: fold part “c” and keep the fabric middle of other two(a,b)
• Step three: join three pieces of fabric with stitching. Here we kipping
another 1cm seam allowance.
• Step four: then make one side topstitches
.USES: Basically on fashion garments
 And also at skirts, jackets, coats, fashion dresses etc

SEAM DEFINITION:
Piping is a versatile trim with another contrast fabric at left called piping.

STEPS FOLLOWED:
• Step one: Cut one piece of fabric according to A and another such as the bias type (45’angel)
which might be 5cm*6’’ at all.
• Step two: make stitch with folding the Blue fabric(bias) by .5cm and then fold it back with a
top stitch behind that Blue.
USES:
 Jackets, jeans zippers, coat etc.
BOUND SEAM

When two fabrics are stitched with a ribbon such like a folder called bound seam.

2*6.
• Step two: then fold the ribbon and take the other two piece of fabric for stitching.
• Step three: at left hand keep the ribbon folder and put the fabrics inside of that then stitching
by 1cm gape.
USES: Woven garments, shirt, trousers, female dresses etc
