SPORTSWEAR
JAMMER SWIM SUIT
A jamme r is a style of swimsuit worn by
male swimmers, used mainly in competition
to obtain speed advantages. They are
generally made of nylon and lycra/spandex
material, but may be made of polyester, and
have a form fitting design to reduce water
resistance. They provide moderate
coverage from the mid-waist to the area
above the knee, somewhat resembling
cycling shorts or compression shorts worn
by many athletes. They provide greater leg
coverage than swim briefs and square leg
suits, although they also have slightly more
water resistance
CYCLING JERSEY
A cycling je rs ey is a
specialized jersey (shirt) for
cycling. While the vast majority
of cyclists worldwide wear
conventional clothing while
riding, a jersey offers certain
advantages for the sport-
oriented cyclist. A cycling jersey
is cut long in the back to
accommodate the bent-over
position used in sport-oriented
cycling.
CYCLING JERSEY
Any pockets on the jersey are

placed on the back panel as front
pockets would tend to spill. The
zipper is often made very long so
that the cyclist can open up the
jersey to allow for ventilation. The
cycling jersey is usually worn with
a tight fit in order to reduce air
resistance. J erseys are made from
a material designed to wick
moisture from the skin, keeping
the cyclist cooler and more
comfortable.
LEOTARD
A leotard is a unisex
skin-tight one-piece
garment that covers the
torso but leaves the legs
free. It was made famous
by the French acrobatic
performer J ules Léotard
(1838–1870).
LEOTARD
Leotards are worn by acrobats,
gymnasts, dancers, figure
skaters, athletes, actors, and
circus performers both as
practice garments and
performance costumes. They
are often worn together with
ballet skirts on top and tights

or sometimes bike shorts as
underwear. There are
sleeveless, short-sleeved and
long-sleeved leotards
UNITARD
A unitard is a skin-tight one-
piece garment with long legs
and sometimes long sleeves,
usually stopping at the wrists
and ankles. It differs from a
leotard in that a leotard does not
have long legs. The garment
can be considered to be a
combination of a leotard and
tights.
UNITARD
The unitard is basically the
wrestling singlet minus the tights,
although some wrestlers do
prefer to wear the tights in order
to further accentuate their uniform
and codpiece.
Unitards are worn by acrobats,
gymnasts, dancers, equestrian
vaulters, athletes, circus
performers, amateur wrestlers
and superheroes, as well as
others who require overall body
coverage without impeding
flexibility.

ZENTAI UNITARD
Superheroes in comics
and films are
frequently depicted
wearing unitards.
When making
sophisticated
animated films, such
as Avatar, zentai
unitards are worn by
actors to detect their
movements.

WRESTLING SINGLET
A wres tling
s ing let (or simply
s ing let) is a one-
piece, tight-fitting,
colored uniform,
usually made of
spandex/lycra, or

nylon, used in
amateur
wrestling.
WRESTLING
SINGLET
The uniform is tight fitting
so as not to get grasped
accidentally by one's
opponent, and allows the
referee to see each
wrestler's body clearly
when awarding points or a
pin. Unlike judo, it is illegal
to grasp an opponent's
clothing in all styles of
amateur wrestling.
