Fashion design is the art of the application of
design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and
accessories that is influenced by cultural and social
latitudes, and has varied over time and place.
Fashion designers

Pattern Maker

A patternmaker typically employs one of two methods to
create a pattern:
(1) Flat-pattern method: the entire pattern is drafted on a
flat surface from measurements, using rulers, curves and
straight-edges
(2) Draping method: a muslin mock-up pattern is created
by pinning fabric directly on a form, then transferring the
muslin outline and markings onto a paper pattern.

Directors
