Styling Trends Women‘s wear.
Simplicité avancée.
Purist, simple, neutral
Body-conscious, with rigorous new shapes and no frills,
uncompromisingly feminine. The looks are sharp, perfectly
shaped, formal, focussed and super sexy. They show a
refined materials’ mix and subtle layerings. Reduced shapes
are decisive, as well as minimal-colour outlines. The look
plays with strictness and marked masculine proportions,
such as a strongly accented shoulder line defined by

shoulder pads, and a feminine lightness featuring flounces,
lingerie-optics and long, ultra-feminine slits. This feminine
overstatement leads to a consistently modern, couture-like
total look.
Styles
Tops with drapings, gatherings and pleats acquire new volumes.
Important elements: lingerie-optics, flowing silk and wrap-around
skirts, dresses with pleated and draped parts, as well as
A-shapes, soft blazers and silk pants.
Colours
Minimalistic colours such as black and white, sand or natural
tones such as chalk, glass, linen, putty and taupe, complemented
by pale sky-blue, jade, apricot and skin.
Fabrics
Fabrics are delicate, shimmering, natural and paper-like.
The focus is on soft cotton, luxurious silk, linen and
cashmere qualities, as well as jerseys, suede, light wool
types. Paper-finishes, micro-reliefs and organdies complete
the picture.
Designs
Natural structures, flammés, glossy and paper-finishes.
Micro-structures and linear, organic prints.

Luxurious, sophisticated, technical
Street modernity has a rebel soul, updating formal wear
according to contemporary times. Functional detailing meets
an urban active mood. Extremely fine qualities and nobly-
crafted designs are reinterpreted as sophisticated single-

colours, materials’ mixes and clear shapes with new pattern
lines and tailoring details. Monochrome soft colours and
neutral nuances transmit lightness and smart modernity.
Styles
The style plays with suit-optics, also as a layer-look. Combinations
consist of super-light double breasted suits, translucent soft vests,
blousons and parkas with pocket, cord and zip-details with narrow
or draped trousers, clean Bermudas, soft shirts, super-fine T-shirts
and fine-knits, as well as transparent net optics.
Colours
Monochrome soft colours, neutral nuances, black, white and
grey in a light and dark mix, with the addition of beige and placed
colour accents.
Fabrics
The look mixes transparency, paper-finishes, shimmer, false
single-colours and single-coloured structures with nylon, fine
wool, linen and noble denim. Cotton fabrics are compact,
smooth and structured. Wool, urban high-tech fabrics, double-
woven fabrics, stretch, satins, bondings with materials’ contrast,
light padding combined with smooth leather, poplin and compact
jersey.
Designs
Net-optics, laser-cut, graphic inserts, window checks, placed
grid, raster and stripe effects, micro-designs and prints such
as damier and graphic patterns.

Yarns
This theme features high-quality, refined mixtures in fine yarn
count, light flammé effects and mélange colours. The mesh is
fine and light, with shaded stripes and elastic plissés. Crepe-like
and stretchy, fine yarns with a silky sheen and perfectly rounded
cables interpret a couture-like mesh. To the touch, yarns are dry
and fresh, and surfaces are smooth or only sparingly structured.
Yarns are fine, in cotton, linen, thin cotton crepes, flammés,
nubs, two-toned twists, chine, eco and recycling types, extra-thin
merinos, cotton-silk ribbons, cashmere and silk mixtures.
Women’s wear
Light and neutral nuances, monochrome colour scheme and purist
looks play the leading role. Understatement in perfection.

Shapes
Fine knits in transparent optics with irisés, ajourés and plissés,
as well as round-neck and wrap-around shapes, cardigans with
materials’ patches. A-shapes, short pencil skirts, fine knits with a
figure-hugging silhouette, fine basics with round-necks, stand-up
collars or polo collars.
Patterns
Irisés, ajourés, plissés, regular relief patterns, shaded stripes,
super fine knits, jacquards.
Men’s wear
Smartness and lightness interpret formal wear in a modern
and relaxed way. Lightness of colour gives a new attractiveness
to neutrality. Clear lines with a relaxed and contemporary air.
Material neutrality combines with light pastels. Tonal shading
provides a restful naturalness.
Shapes
Fine knits with round necks and matching cardigans, super fine
knit-shirts, knitted sports jackets, knitted coats, slouchy short-
sleeve hoodies, modern quernsey knits.
Patterns
Tony micro-designs, shaded stripes, transparency, shimmer,
single-coloured structures, lustrous ribbed knits.

Styling Trends Women‘s wear.
Vues fusion.
Mixed, exotic, vital
This theme strives to be modern and laid-back, in an eye-to-
eye encounter between East and West. In keeping with this
spirit, the looks are consequently modern and relaxed. The
graphic handling of colours, patterns, handicraft and rawness
is surprising and new. The pattern-cutting techniques melt
together the Western tradition and the Far-Eastern draping
skills, bringing about a new hybrid couture. The look lives on
colour-blocking, different designs and textures.
Styles
Strapless dresses, tops, tunics and trapezoidal shapes with
edgings, fringes, stripes, asymmetric features, pencil and full
circle skirts, short vests, boleros, skinny and sarouel pants, plain
and severe kimono shapes and origami folds.
Colours
Intense colour shades in turquoise, mosaic blue, orange, lemon,
pink. Stark contrasts with white, leather, cocoa and summer darks.
Fabrics
Summer tweeds, raffia effects, jerseys, knits, stretch, satin,
denim, canvas, raw linen, functional high-tech fabrics and
embroideries, but also ultra-light and transparent materials.
Designs
Striking, bold stripes, checks, geometric patterns, zigzags,
colourful embroideries, edgings, African designs and prints, polka
dots, pop-art inspirations, artistic flower designs, ethnic graphics
and edgings, graphic small-print patterns and fluorescent effects.
