I live in a small village called Smallville. It’s about 45 km from the nearest town. There are about
500 people here, and most of them live on farming. I love the village because it is very quiet and life is
slow and easy. The village is always clean – people look after it with great care. The air is always clean,
too. It is much more friendly here than in a city because everyone knows everyone else, and if someone
has a problem, there are always people who can help.
There are only a few things that I don’t like about Smallville. One thing is that we don’t have many
things to do in the evening. We don’t have any cinemas or theaters. The other thing is that people always
talk about each other, and everyone knows what everyone else is doing. But I still prefer village life to life
in a big city.
