In about 140 words, describe one of your family members.
Among members in my family, my mother is the one to whom I feel closest. Her name is
Lien. She is a beautiful middle-aged woman with a round-shaped face, long black hair and a
graceful smile. She works as an English teacher, and not only did she teach me English, but
she also provided me with a right moral compass and educated me to treat everyone suitably.
She is a very protective, though not indulgent parent, always fearing for her children’s security
and giving us all of whatever is necessary for our life. Also, as a kind-hearted lady, she often
invites the neighbor kids around, gives them candies and lets us play together. She is a role
model on the way to care for others and I’ve always tried to be as kind as her. To sum up, I
love my mother so much, and without her, I wouldn’t be who I’m today.

- Ý nghĩa: duyên dáng, cuốn hút
- Cách dùng: Từ này được dùng để
khen sự duyên dáng của người
phụ nữ: dáng đi, nụ cười, mái
tóc, tính cách, . . . . Ngoài từ
adorable ra, các em trai cần nhớ
cả từ graceful này nhé! ;)

- Ý nghĩa: tập hợp những phẩm
chất đạo đức tạo nên cách
hành xử của một/nhiều người.

- Cách dùng: Đây là một cụm từ
hay nhưng khá khó áp dụng. Tuy
nhiên nếu các em dùng được nó, kể
cả người bản ngữ cũng sẽ đánh giá
bài viết của các em cao hơn. Hãy
đọc nhiều ví dụ về cụm từ này
để hiểu nó được sử dụng như thế

games, . . . mà chỉ dùng nó để
chỉ việc giáo dục những thứ "cao

- Cách dùng: Các em lưu ý từ fear

fear for là một phrasal verb dùng
để chỉ sự lo lắng và quan tâm
đối với ai/ cái gì đó. Nó có nghĩa
tương tự như be worried about
vậy.

định chất nữ tính của đối tượng
được nhắc đến. Các bạn nam lại

- Cách dùng: Đây cũng là một cụm
từ mà các em có thể áp dụng trong

Khi các em muốn miêu tả ý "rất là
. . . , tuy nhiên không đến mức
. . . ", hãy sử dụng từ though này
nhé!

Ngữ phân từ hiện Chị đã nhắc tới cách sử dụng Vtại (fearing, giving) ing để đưa thêm thông tin về
một sự vật trong hai bài trước,
tuy nhiên, chị vẫn muốn note lại
