Các dạng câu hỏi thường gặp
1. Câu hỏi mô tả
***Khi bắt đầu trả lời nên có những từ mở đầu, gây thiện cảm cho người hỏi.
Ví dụ: OK then…
Alright
Well, you know…
Actually…
Right, ok…
Well…
***Nên học thuộc các cụm từ nối để phản ứng nhanh với các câu hỏi. Các cụm từ nối phổ biến như
sau (các cụm màu đỏ dễ học thuộc hơn):
For idea 1: The first thing I should mention is that
The point I would like to begin with is that
I could start off by saying that
My initial point would be that
I need to start off by pointing out that
The main thing you need to know is that
I suppose I should begin by highlighting the fact that

***Nên nói ít nhất 3 ý nhỏ cho mỗi câu hỏi, giữa các ý phải có các từ hoặc cụm từ nối. Một phần trả
lời hoàn chỉnh cần được diễn đạt như sau:
Ví dụ: Well first of all, the main thing you need to know is that…(idea 1)…In fact (detail 1)… On top of
that I can also add that… (idea 2)… which means…(detail 2)… Something else that I need to comment
on is that…(idea 3)… so actually (detail 3)…

Alright, the first thing I could mention is that my job is environmental scientist and I feel very happy
and confident about this. In fact I have studied environmental major in HUS, so it’s luckily for me
that everything I have gained from university also support for my job. Another point I could add is
that my job is hard-working and unsafety which means I have to cope with many toxic chemical in
the lab and collect samples of hazardous pollutants when I have to carry out field research. And I
should not forget to tell that my job is important because you know environmental status is
decreasing now, so if we can minimize its impact, our life will be better.

*** Các bước cụ thể để trả lời như sau:
Step 1: Dùng 2 cụm từ ở trên để diễn tả tổng quát

Step 2: Dùng các cụm từ nối để diễn tả cụ thể

Well to be honest, I would probably say that I’m a big fan of music, to be more accurate I would say
that I’m really into pop music, you know, this could be because pop music is very popular with
smooth melody and easy to listen even if your feeling is happy or sad. In addition to this I’m also
pretty passionate about Shayne Ward’s songs, especially the song “Untill you” and this might be
because his voice is really awesome and the lyric is absolutely great.

3. Câu hỏi “Disliking”
*** Câu hỏi trái ngược với “Liking question”, vì thế phải dùng các cụm từ khác

Well in general I would say that I’m not so keen on fast food, to be more accurate I would say that

I’m not much of a fan of chicken fried. And I guess this is probably because it contains too much fat
and cholesterol, these components is totally not good and may cause some health’s problem.In
addition to this I really can’t stand the soft drink for example Coca Cola or 7up. This might be
because these drinks is too sweet and if I drink too much, the CO2 gas in the soft drink can make me
feel uncomfortable.

5. Câu hỏi có từ hỏi “Wh-/ How often”
Ví dụ: How often do you go to the cinema?
Who do you spend your weekend with?
*** Dùng các cụm mở đầu

*** Với câu hỏi dạng này có thể sẽ ko có nhiều ý để trả lời, vì còn tuỳ vào hoàn cảnh của mình. Nên
trả lời theo các tình huống. Dùng các cụm từ sau:
I imagine that it would depend on the situation
I think I would have to say that it really depends
*** Dùng các cụm để nối ý

Well to be honest, I think I would have to say that it really depends. If I have much free time as I’m in
holiday then I will most likely listen to music every day because I’m a big fan of music. Whereas in
contrast, if I have many other things to finish then it will be that I will spend a little time for music in

fact that I can absolutely concentrate on my duty

6. Câu hỏi “Yes/no question”
*** Cách tốt nhất là trả lời cả YES và NO, tuy nhiên cũng phải tuỳ câu hỏi nhưng phần lớn nên trả lời
cả 2 cách cho phong phú
