1.Friend
To day I would like to talk about my best friend Tom . He is an exchange student from USA , he is a very
kind and funny people. He is taller than me with blue eyes and a yellow hair. I first met him in English
class 2 years ago since then he has become one of my best friend. We do a lot of activity together like
fishing, camping,.. He also help me improve my EL skill. I thing he is my good friend.
2.Hobbies
I have a lot of hobbies but the hobbies i like most is play chess . I alway play chess with my brother or my
friend when i have free time. I like to play chess becase it is very easy to play and is is a brain sport it
mean you don’t have to use muscle, play chess is a vay good way to reduce stress and it help me make a
lot of friend share the same hobbies with me. To play chess you don’t have to care about weather
because you can play it inside your house and it need you to stay focus in order to win that why I like it.
So why don’t you try to play chess now ?
3.Holiday
In VN there are a lot of holiday but the holiday that i like most is Tet . It start from the last day of the
year and last after 2 weeks arcoding to the lunar calender . Tet is a special time for my family together
after a hard working year. In tet we watch fire work , clean home make Chung cake , it a special cake
make from rice, been, meet....Tet is the time for us to visit our friend and to celebrate new year and it is
the time for children to receive lucky money. I like this holiday because it is time for us to reunite with
family and it remind us about VN good traditional.
4.Weather
In Hanoi there are four seasons in a year. It summer, winter, fall, and spring. In Spring the weather is
nice with blue sky , it not too hot and not too cold , sometimes there are some small rain but it very
short. In summer the weather is hot with high temperature and a lot of hard rain but they are short, and
in summer we should aware of typhoon. In fall the weather is nice and cool with some foggy , windy and
rain. In winter the weather is cold and has low teperature and hard wind. I thing i like summer because
in this season I have a long holiday and the weather is suitable for go camping, fishing and a lot of out
side activities.
5.Favorite place
There are a lot of favorite places but the places i like most is Hoan kiem lake . It is a famous place with
green water and a legend about emperor Le Loi return the god sword after he defeted Ming invader.
The lake aslo is home of a few old turtle. In the centrer of the lake there is a small old tower, near by it is

an old temple and 2 structure they are the chiness ink holder and chiness paintbrushes created by
Nguyen van sieu a famous teacher in 20 century aroud the lake there are a lot of famous place like the
old street, and much more to see.I have visit here many times but i still like it becase is the heart of the
city the treasure inside HN.


6.Future job
In my future i want to become an electric engineer. Imagine if live in a big house with out electric that
why you need us to create electric systems for you and bring electric for you to use and being an electric
engineer meaning with find and fix electric problems and help people used electric devices in safe
way.In order to become an electrical engineer i have to study for about 4.5years in WRU and earn the
qualification for electrical engineer.I want to do this job because my father inspite me and i want to
bring electric to every place in VN.
7.TV program
I like to watch tv every time i have free time. I like to like animal world in animal planet channel.You can
wach it 24h a day in Animal planet channel. The program talk about a world full of animal in the world ,
it provide us knowledge about a lot of animal, we can know how they eat live and how they important
to the enviroment and to our own live and how to save them from disspear from our world i thing that
why i like these programs.So why don’t you turn on the TV and watch the animal world when you have
free time ?
8.Teacher
My EL teacher is Tom. He a very funny man,He come from USA. He has blue eyes and very tall with short
hair cut, he has an amazing EL skill and he realy love his job, he teach us with all his talent, passion, that
make me very easy to lean EL, he alway using his free time to help me do my home work and give me a
lot of advice in diffrent kind of trouble in my live. With me he is more than a teacher he also a friend and
as they said a second father in shcool.
