coagulation and flocculation effect This Coagulation

combine small colloid grains to bigger colloid grains
Coagulation use Al2(SO4)3 at rapid mix basin
Flocculation use POLYMER at slow mix basin
After Al2(SO4)3 solubilize in water created positive
charge, they asborded negative charge neutralize
electric charge to form small colloid grains. Beside,
create colloid solid grains. It will be combine colloid
grains increase collideing with another.
After
add POLYMER in water, it formed polymer
strip,it able to asborb suspensions, to form colloid
polymer, increase volume of colloid easier to
precipitate and filter.
Firstly small micro flocs formed which agglomerated
to form larger macro flocs. These macro are easily
settled or filtered from the water.Synthentic polymers
have replaced inorganic polymer and natural polymer.
Flocculant dosing is starts until coagulation has been
completed.

Stirrer to mix. With purpose create bigger colloid
grains from small colloid grains
