I. Aims
- Ss know some new words about the weather and seasons.
- To develop Ss’skills.
II. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to describe, ask and answer about
weather.
III.Ways of working
- T - WC, work in pair, individual work.
IV. Materials
Cassette, tape, projector.
V. Anticipated problems
VI. Teaching steps
1. Warm up (1’) Greet and check the Ss’ attendance.
2. Revision (5’)
Show some pictures about the weather and seasons and ask Ss to talk about the
weather and seasons which they know.
Present the new lesson.
- Introduce: there are four seasons in Viet Nam: summer, winter, autumn, spring,
each season has different weather: hot, cold, warm and cool so we have wonderful
tropical climate. The sun and rain are regular, and trees are green all the year.
3. New lesson. (37’)

- Show the color picture of A1
without words and get Ss to remark


about weather in each season.
- Let's study about the seasons and
weather.
- Introduce some new words.
