How to prepare the game
Print on cardboard or other kind of tough paper.
Laminate if you want it to last long.
Divide the class into groups of 3 or 4 students.
Give one boardgame and a dice to each group.
Give a token or a coin for each student. You may want to print the tokens I provided here.

Game directions
The aim of the game is to make students come up with a similar sentence using the adverbs of
frequency. (Example: I go to work by train every day. = I always go to work by train.)
Each student throws the dice to determine the order of playing. The student who gets the greatest
number is the first.
The first student throws the dice and makes a similar sentence found in the corresponding square.
(Example: if the student is in square 3 and takes number 2, so he goes to square 5. If he gets his answer

right he places his token on square 5; if he gets it wrong his token stays on square 3.)
The winner is the first student who reaches the finish in each group.

Variations
To encourage your students to use all the adverbs you can set a rule: they can’t repeat the adverb used
by the previous student.
After all the groups have a winner, the winner can play against each other.
