Demonstrative pronouns

THIS is the demonstrative pronoun we use with nouns in singular. THESE is the plural form of
“this“, therefore, we use it with nouns in plural.
e.g. This is my book.
Are these books yours?
THAT- is used with nouns in singular;
THOSE (plural form of “that“) is used with nouns in plural.
e.g. That book is not mine.
Those books are John's.
