Well, the plot thickens. We thought it would be easy
to locate missing teacher dog, Speedy, who was last
seen ______ the Dr. Seuss Middle school ____
Monday morning ______ 9:30. But we were wrong!
We stopped looking for him _____ midnight. Then
______ the morning we started searching again. We
looked everywhere. He wasn’t ______ home. He
wasn’t ______ the garden. He is always home
_______ his birthday and that was in 2 days- ______
Thursday May 6th. Yes, he was born _____ the
spring. We took a break ______ noon for lunch and

stopped to put on our thinking caps. If he wasn’t
_____ Brooklyn where could he be? What was he
doing _____ the moment? Then I remembered that
he liked to do magic tricks. ______ 2013 he had
gone to magic school. He knew that children were
tired _____ the morning, so that could vanish easily.
We found him early _____ the evening _____ his
