use the present simple.
Let’s look at some of the sentences in Indie’s email to Emma.

In questions, we use do + infinitive.
In answers we use the present simple.

Friendship bracelet

Language Assistant

A friendship bracelet is given by one person to another as
a symbol of friendship. Boys and girls wear them. They are
made of colourful thread.
Materials: 3 strands of embroidery thread, 182 cm long.
Instructions:
1. Put your thread together so that all the
ends meet.
2. Fold the thread in half and knot in the
middle. You now have six strands of
thread.

3. Tape the knot to your desk.
