“GOING TO”
The PRESENT
CONTINUOUS is used to
describe something you have arranged
to do in the future.
Examples:
I'm seeing my mother tomorrow.
I'm playing tennis on Saturday.

is used to describe a
present intention about the future or
when something is sure to happen.

Examples:
Look at those black clouds. It's going to
rain.
I'm going to hire a car the next time I go
to England.
I'm going to start Italian lessons in the
next week or two.
