We Live in an Icebox!
“Who wants to live in an icebox?” you ask. “We do!” I answer.
I am Peter Penguin. Penny Penguin is my wife. Penny and I love our home. But
it is cold as an icebox!

But our land is not all white. There are (3)_____ bright colors, too.
Some times (4)_____ ice looks green. Sometimes it looks blue. Sometimes it

have no (9)_____ night at all. Then comes our winter. (10)_____ sun never shines.

pieces of (20)_____ ice. We can’t fly. But we can swim very fast.
Every fall, we go back to (21)_____ land. There Penny lays two eggs. Then she

last Penny comes back. How fat and pretty she looks! I am so happy to see her! I

necks together.
