1. Read the letter that Francisco, an Argentinian boy, sent
to Franco, his Italian penfriend:
67 Wilton Rd,
London
February 25th, 2009
Dear Franco,
I hope you are OK. I am enjoying myself very much, I really love London!
It is definitely different from Buenos Aires. During the flight I felt really
anxious and nervous, but now I am very happy here! There are many
things I like: the friendly people, the monuments, the museums, even the
food!
Three days ago I met my teachers at the Language Institute, they are
very kind people. They really make us feel welcome.
Yesterday, we went to a nice place called Greenwich. We went there by
tube. We enjoyed yourselves very much and we visited a famous ship,
the Cutty Sark. It was great!
Next week we’ll probably visit the Victoria and Albert Museum, the
teachers say it’s very interesting. At the weekend we’ll go to Leeds Castle
if the weather is fine.
I am going to the Institute now. Give my regards to your parents.
All the best,
Lucas
P.S. Write soon!
2. Underline all the verbs you can find in Francisco’s letter. Then put
