After certain verbs and expressions:
consider, dislike, enjoy, fancy, finish, go,
keep, like, mind, miss, be worth, can’t help,
can’t stand
Examples: She goes hiking on Sundays.
When will he finish working?
Do you mind lending me your rubber?
I couldn’t help laughing
After a preposition:
Examples: He was accused of lying
I’m not used to getting up early
She was interested in helping him
The man left without saying goodbye
As a noun
Examples: Boxing is a dangerous sport
Smoking is not allowed here
