MEET JACK, HIS DOG PATCH AND HIS BROTHER.
Hello! My name is Jack and this is my dog, Patch. I am
six years old. My Dad is called Frederick and he is an
electrician. My Mum is called Linda and she works in a
shop. I have got one older brother. His name is Joe and
he is fourteen. He likes playing football and computer
games. I’ve got one older sister and her name is Matilda.
She’s nine. She likes playing with her dolls. Patch is six
months old. I like taking him to the park for walks. My

Hi there! I’m Joe, Jack’s big brother. He’s an OK kid. I’m going to tell
you about what he does on Saturdays.
He usually gets up quite late, about 10.30 because there is no school.
He always has toast for breakfast. He eats his breakfast in front of
the TV and he watches cartoons. After that, he gets dressed and
goes to the park with his friends. They usually play football, but
sometimes they play cricket.
He takes Patch with him, but I need to tell you something. Patch is
my dog! In the afternoon, we both go shopping with our Mum. We
usually go to Asda, but sometimes we go to Lidl. We help Mum with
the shopping. In the evening, Jack plays computer games. We have
dinner together – Jack, Mum, Dad and me. Jack always has a bath
