Combine the following sentences.
1. She has many shortcomings. But she is a nice woman at heart.
2. Winston Churchill was a great statesman. He was also a writer.
3. He has a lot of money. But he leads a miserable life.
4. They decided to disperse the meeting. All agreed to that.
5. He stood on tip-toe. He reached for the apple.
6. The rain stopped. We continued our journey.

8. The chairman took his seat. The meeting began.
9. You must help your brother. It is your duty.
10. The thief heard a noise. He ran away.
