What is an adjective?

Adjectives are words that describe or modify another person or thing in
the sentence. Its main syntactic role is to modify a noun or pronoun,
giving more information about the noun or pronoun's referent.
In order to describe people we can find adjectives for describing
personality and adjectives for describing personal appearance, but now
we are going to learn the second classification: adjectives for describing
personal appearance, in terms of height, size, hair and eyes, among
others.
