Suzie: Look at that!
Tom: I can’t see anything.
Suzie: It looks like a snake.
Tom: Where?
Suzie: Over there. It’s clearly visible. It’s just come into sight. It’s just come into view.
Tom: You must have good eyesight. You must have sharp eyes. You know I have poor sight without my
contact lenses.
Suzie: It caught my eye a few minutes ago. But what’s the matter with you? You’re not looking yourself.
Tom: You know I feel ill at the sight of reptiles.
Suzie: Oh, I see. You too, keep an eye on it.
Tom: Please, do not let it out of your sight. Where’s your rifle? Have it in your sights now.
Suzie: Now look! It looks as if it’s going to climb a tree.
Tom: Suzie, please, please keep an eye on it.
Suzie: Oh, Tom. Look on the bright sight of it. At least it’s not on the ground!
Tom: But Suzie, please have a close look at it.
Suzie: Oh, now I’ve lost sight of it. It’s gone!
Tom: But look carefully!
Suzie: Tom! Why do I always have to look after you? In the end, you’re my older brother!
Tom: Stop it, Suzie! Now look here! That’s not fair! Don’t look down on me. Look who’s talking!
Remember- you’re afraid of frogs!
Suzie: Ok, Ok, I’ll look it up in our animal atlas when we get to our camp and tell you what it was. And stop
arguing. Anyway, it’s going to be a fine day by the look of it.
Tom: But please, please keep a lookout for any more reptiles on our
way back to the camp.
Suzie: All right. You too. Look where you’re going. Look round when
you hear a noise.
