Dear Tom, my name’s Daniel, I’m twelve years
old and I live in Washington.
It’s a very big city in the U.S.A. and its river is
called Potomac.
The President of America lives here, too!
I live in a small house with my family: my father
Alex, he’s forty-three and he’s a journalist. My
mother Tracy is thirty-eight and she’s a
housewife.
I’ve got one sister. Alice is eight years old and
we’ve got two pets: a cat and a hamster.
I’m tall, I’ve got short brown hair and green eyes.
I like swimming and riding a bike, but I don’t like
playing football. My favourite colours are lightblue and orange.
I like fish and chips or pizza and hamburger, but I
don’t like cheese and eggs.
I go to school by bus. I have English lesson on
Tuesday at nine, but my favourite subject is
Science.
I love reading and painting and my hobby is
