The basic relative clauses are:
WHO:
Use it to talk about
PEOPLE.
Mary is a good dancer. Mary comes from Mexico.
Mary is a good dancer WHO comes from Mexico.
WHICH:
Use it to talk about THINGS
A dictionary is a book. A dictionary contains definitions.
A dictionary is a book WHICH contains definitions.
WHOSE:
Use it to talk about POSSESSIONS
Karl is a student. Karl’s exam was the best.
Karl is a student WHOSE exam was the best.
