Wow ! Got to go back to school….. ! I had such great Christmas
holidays , two weeks but I am so tired still !!. My name is Laura, I
am fifteen and I live in a flat on Central Park, New york. As you
can imagine New york is really gorgeous at Christmas with all
the street lights, the giant tree at the Rockfeller center. I went
ice skating there .We did all our Christmas shopping just a few
days before the D- day , because Mum and Dad work a lot as lawyers. But
anyway we invited my four grandparents , my uncle Steve, my aunt Stella, my
cousins Dave and Julia , so this made twelve people with my older brother
Brad.We ate a lot maybe too much but Mum is a real good cook when she takes
the time and it was such great fun being all together ! After we gave each other
presents, I got an Ipad and nice clothes , my brother got some money to help
him pay the trip to France he has planned for next summer. As for New Year’s
Eve, we all went to different parties.Apart from this , we had some nice walks
together in Central Park, we visited the latest Monet exhibition at MOMA. I
mustn’t forget that we gave a hand several times to the Salvation Army to give
food to some of the homeless people living in the park, I know we are
priviledged. Well I also went window shopping with my friend Leila, we listened
to some great new groups and watched a lot of DVDs,so we had a real great time.
