I saw your advertisement in yesterday’s Daily Telegraph and I would like to apply for the position of a
senior entertainment officer on your Caribbean Cruise Ship.
I am twenty five years old and I come from Argentina. Spanish is my mother tongue but I an a graduate in
Hotel management from Higher Institute of Tourism, Perito Merino’ (1993-94) and am fluent in English,
French and Portuguese. I also had a diploma in Protocol and Ceremonial at the Association of Hotels,
with a training period (1995-96) at the Plaza Marriott in Buenos Aires. I started as a bell boy, trained as a
telephone operator on a switchboard, and planned entertainment programs for hotel residents.
I am an enthusiastic and hard- working hotel management graduate seeking a challenging position and I
am fond of music and I like watching good films.
The manager of Plaza Marriott, MR J. Sanchez and Mr G. Bateman, the personnel manager of Conte
Hotel have kindly agreed to provide me with excellent references should you require them.
