I. Tóm tắt bài giảng
Cấu trúc câu dự đoán:
 Dự đoán ở hiện tại:
Can / may / will / must / should / need / ought to … + Vinf
Ví dụ: You have worked hard all day; you must be tired.


Dự đoán ở quá khứ:

* Dự đoán một việc chắc chắn ( 100 %) đã xảy ra trong quá khứ: must have PII
Ví dụ: He got a high score. He must have worked hard.
* Dự đoán chắc chắn 100 % không thể xảy ra trong quá khứ: can't / couldn't have PII
Ví dụ: She can't have been at the party yesterday. She was teaching then.
(Cô ta không thể có mặt tại bữa tiệc ngày hôm qua được. Lúc đó cô ta đang dạy.)
* Dự đoán có khả năng diễn ra trong quá khứ (70-80%), chưa chắc đã xảy ra:
may / might have PII
Ví dụ: He lost his key. He might have come into the house through the window.
( quan điểm chủ quan của người nói)
* should have PII: đã nên làm gì trong quá khứ
Ví dụ: You should have informed me of your arrival.
* would have PII: trong câu điều kiện loại 3
Ví dụ: If I had known she was coming, I would have prepared more food. (Nếu tôi biết cô ấy
đến, tôi đã chuẩn bị thêm thức ăn.)
