Thanks for your letter. It's so great that you had a nice dinner at the restaurant yesterday.
Sometimes I also eat out with my family or my friends. I like the "Buffalo restaurant" best. It's
10km far from my house. The food is good and very easy to (do) make/cook. It’s really fresh
and delicious. The service is very quick and good. The waiters and waitresses are really polite
and friendly. In addition, the environment is pastoral. It makes me feel pleasant and relaxed.
The price is reasonable, not expensive at all. At least, I think so. If you have spare time, I'm
pleased to invite you have a meal there someday. Is it OK?

Thanks for your letter. How are things? I suddenly felt missing you and my secondary
classmates so much. So I'm writing to you to look back on our memories. I remembered that
when we were at Secondary school, I was taught English by Ms Lan Anh. At the age of 14
years old, I considered her as my idol. She always appeared in a good-look way with a smiling
face. English was very difficult to me, and I hated it so much. But being taught by her, I
gradually liked English and waited for English class everyday. And I learnt EL better and
better. I graduated from Secondary school sixteen years ago but I always remember the
English teacher who helped me so much with grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening & writing

skill. She had never run out of patience with her students. Do you agree that my teacher's very

Thanks for your letter. How are you? Hope that everything is OK. You know, last weekend I
went to the birthday party of a friend from college. It was celebrated in the garden in her house.
Many people were invited to the party. They wore colourful clothes and cheerfully joined the
party. All the trees in the garden were decorated with colourful lights. Long tables with many
food like candy,cookies,juice were put around the garden. All the people enjoyed the party.
They ate the food, drank wine and soft drinks, listened to music, danced and sang a lot. When
the big birthday cake was brought out, the atmosphere was so exciting. And…you know…the
thing I liked best was that I made friend with a cool girl. She was so nice, and we talked,
danced together during the party. I think she has feeling with me. We are going to meet nest
weekend.

I was very happy to get your letter. It's a long time since we last met. I have sent you some
mails but you haven’t replied yet. You have been so busy recently, have you? You know it is
autumn now. This time of the year is the best. I love it so much because you know, autumn
makes me feel more pleasant, healthier. The weather is neither hot nor cold. In this season I
often go out for a picnic with my family or friends. We often go camping, fishing and make
campfire. Last time I went fishing with some friends and I caught a big fish of about 3kg and of
course we had a great lunch with delicious grilled fish. We will be so happy if you can join us
sometime.

Yesterday I received your letter. I was so glad. Sorry for not writing to you for a long time. As
you know, now it is exam time at my college, so I have been very busy these days. Working as
a teacher, there are so many things I have to do. I have to prepare exam questions for my
students. It is not easy work but I like my job. Everyday It is my happiness seeing the student'
faces, sharing a lot of things with them in class. I became an IT teacher in 2009, but I have
never felt bored with my job. Teaching job needs a lot of patience, wide knowledge and many
other factors. So everyday I'm trying to strengthen and improve my knowledge by reading
books, consulting in the Internet … A lots of skills are required when you are a teacher, so I
know that I can not stop studying. In the future, I want to open a free IT training centre in my
hometown. I know that IT is very important in a modern society. But there are so many poor
people who don’t have not enough money to join any IT classes. I would like to open free IT
classes for the poor in my town. I will try my best to earn & save money to achieve my goals.
Well, that’s all for now. I have to get to the college now. Today, my students have a final-term
exam on IT.

Thanks for your letter. Nice to hear that you are going to spend your summer holiday in my
country. There are many beautiful places you can visit in my country. I have been to many
different places in my country, from the North to the South, but Da Lat is what I like best. I think
you should go there to see how poetic and romantic Da Lat is! You should see "Doi mong mo –
Dreamlike hill", "Thung lung tinh yeu - Love valley" or "The city's flower-garden" and so on.

There are so many sights to see in Da Lat. And you know ? Vegetables in Dalat are very fresh
and delicious. You should know how great I felt ! But remember that the weather in Dalat is
not like in Ha Noi. It's very cold in the morning and evening. So you should bring sweater or
overcoat if you go there. And if you want to buy something for souvenir you should choose a
scarf because of its quality, colour and really reasonable price. You also should buy sugared
dry apricot, tamarind. I think they are tasty. I'm very pleasant if I can join with you as a guide.
When you have fixed your travel days, let me know and I'll try to arrange my work. Is it OK?

Letter 8:
Dear ……
As I said in the previous letter, my family moved to a new house last week. Everything seems
to be great when having a new place to live. It will be filled with new furniture next week
because I need lots of time to look for the furniture which is suitable for the space and the
size of the rooms in the new house. The house has a good view with a large garden towards
the hill; the yard was designed by my father with a white bamboo barrier. Fortunately, my new
house is near to my office, so I just have to spend 15 minutes getting to work by motorbike.
That would be a great benefit of a new place I hope that you will spend your time visiting our
new house in some day. It will be great if you accept my invitation!

Thanks for writing to me. As you know, I like going to cinema for films. I go to the cinema once
a month. I often go there with my brother or my friends. Yesterday I also went to "Dan chu
Cinema" to see "Die hard 4". It was a kind of horror film. It was interesting but frightening. The
content energy in the whole country. By applying the high and new technologies, they almost

reached their aim! But one person in their team, who was lucky to escape from the
assassination, helped cops to solve that problem. In the Terrorist Attack, there is an Asian
beautiful girl. She is really good at kung-fu. I like her best. Her real name is Maggie-Q. She's a
well-known actress all over the world. And at the end of this film, she died. That film has a
happy ending. Good wins evil! Have you seen that film, If not, I recommend you should see it.

I'm glad to receive your letter. Your are getting fat, aren't you ? If you want to lose some
weight, I think, there are many things you can do. I think you should do morning exercise
everyday. And you should follow a diet tightly! You should eat much more vegetables and do
not forget drink water as much as you can, at least 2 liters everyday. I think water, vegetables
and fresh fruits are very good for everyone, especially women. Do you agree with me ? Every
dinner, I don't have rice, pans, meat or something like that. I usually drink an orange juice or
apple juice, with a little vegetable soup. And everyday, I'm trying to keep my sleep from 6~8
hours. I go to bed at 10:00 - 11.00PM, and wake up at 5:00 - 6:00. AM. Besides, you should
play sports like football, tennis, swimming or jogging….. Try to lead/have a healthy lifestyle,
you will feel better, especially you should keep fit and healthy.

go to live concer. So I often listen POP music every night after all my work. POP is the best
with me because of its tone, its lyrics and its feelings that made me relax my mind totally.
Addditionally, my favourite singger is Michael Jackson – king of POP. His mover, his voices
and his songs are very great and I can song all the songs. Hopefullly, I can send to you all my

record soon, and by the way. What’s your favour singer? Tell me about it in nex letter.
