1. Introducing:
- Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel is a five- star hotel located at 15 Ngo
Quyen street, near Hoan Kiem Lake and the Opera House of the city,
distance from hotel to Noibai airport about 33kms.
-The Sofitel Metropole Hanoi ancient architectural style of the French colonial
era
- Metropole is the first five- star hotel in Hanoi. It was built in 1901 by French
investors. It has French’s architectural styles, the walls are covered with
white paint, green door frame with lots of iron flower oblique sophisticated
design, soft ...
- Metropole hotel serves mostly foreign tourists. In the early 1950s,Clownking Charlie Chaplin and the author of "The Quiet American" – Graham
Greene stayed at the hotel Sofitel Metropole Hanoi.
- Metropole hotel is wonderful place to take wedding photos

2.Characteristics of the hotel:
- Sofitel legend Metropole Ha Noi has full spa the therapy, outdoor pool and
health club.
- Customers can access high speed internet wired and wireless free in public
areas, besides there computers serves customers at right in hotel premises.
- A five-star famous hotel, sotitel legend Metropole has services facilities to
serve the needs word and conference such as: central office services, small
meeting room and car luxury
- This luxury hotel has a bar next to the pool, staff are ready to consult some
service such as travel and marriage.


- Utilities services including: terrace,spa tub with a small fee customers can
use shuttle services including airport shuttle at scheduled time and pick-up
service station
- This is a great hotel because there is no smoke.

3.Facilities in the room:
- 364 rooms are equipped with air conditioning at the Sofitel Legend
Metropole Hanoi including security safe and minibar.
+ Beds are equipped with cotton blanket, feathered blankets, and
premium bedding .
+ The guests can access wireless Internet and free wireless high speed in
the room.
+ The rooms are equipped with LCD televisions with satellite channels. All
rooms have desks, newspapers, and phones with voice mail. Bathroom with
shower and tub combinations with handheld showerheads, bathrobes,
toiletries were designed and makeup and shave.
+ In addition, amenities available on request include irons clothes
equipment, anti-allergenic bedding and wake-up calls
+ Turndown service is offered nightly and daily housekeeping

4. Restaurant and bar:
- Le Beaulieu French Restaurant : bring a classic and subtle space. You can
enjoy the excellent cuisine of the French .Le Beaulieu French has long been
known for Brunch meals ( breakfast lunch combined ) on Sundays and dinner
.

- Spices Garden Vietnamese Restaurant : decorated beautifully, serves
diners
traditional and modern Vietnamese dishes. From the restaurant you can
admire the beautiful gardens of the hotel
- Angelina - Italian Steak house Restaurants: a space combines modern
restaurants and bars with the dishes with unique flavors of Italy and
reputation of wines from many countries around the world, serving the
diverse needs of diners.
- Bamboo Poolside Bar: Located next to the pool, Bamboo is quiet getaway.
Furnished with antique flavor through the rattan chairs and ceiling fans. Also
here you can also enjoy snacks and cocktails.
- Le Club Bar : you not only get to enjoy drinks , cocktails , but also have the
opportunity to enjoy the garden area of hotel. visitors can select breakfast,
lunch, afternoon tea , chocolate buffet and dinner in great live music space .
- Met Pub : is a favorite place by live music , good food and lots of beer ,
brandy , whiskey for you to choose from .

5.Other services and facilities:
- Clark Hatch Health Center :is equipped with exercise machines and exercise
equipment of international standard . At the center you also get support from
fitness experts , professional massage . In addition, the center has a sauna ,
jacuzzi baths and an outdoor pool .
- Business Center: Located between Metropole hotel and Opera House here is


full of photocopying services, fax, scan, secretarial services, phone, internet,
meeting rooms are equipped with high speed internet. Facilities for
conferences meet all needs organizing conferences, large and small, the type
of party (cocktail parties, anniversary parties ...)
- Conference – Workshop: there is plenty of room to scale and different sizes,

accommodating from 6 seats to 250 seats. Business Center with workplace
advanced equipment, Internet connection, fax machine, phone, scanner,

6.The title has been achieved:
Metropole hotel is a historical witness which saw the volatile history of the
capital.
On 21st May ,2012 Metropole hotel had to visit the secret bomb shelter which
was buried underground. It is a haven for many important guests from 1960
to 1972 when northern of Vietnam was bombed by the U.S. military. It is
regarded as a crucial historical witness, witness a glorious period of the
nation, is an important part of the hotel made up of historical religion, the
ancient and unique of Metropole Hanoi .
- On 14th Oct,2013, in Hanoi, UNESCO had awarded the Honour of cultural
heritage conservation for 2013's bomb shelter Metropole Hanoi hotel.


- The title of “ best hotel in Hanoi” Asia Money poll by magazine

- The title of “One of the world's leading hotel” Journal of the world famous
tourism Condé Nast Travellers poll by magazine 4th.
- The title of “One of 500 world's best hotels” Travel & Leisure poll by

B_CONCLUSIONS
This is a hotel which has the cultural identity of Vietnam. Metropole live up
to its legend. Its not just a hotel, but also a landmark of the city. Luxurious
with great amenities coupled with great service really make up for the price
that we paid.
As a Vietnamese, I feel very proud of the beauty of the traditional culture
and Vietnam are kept in a unique way to honor and featured at the
Metropole.
