WISHES – PRACTICE TEST No. 1
A. WISH/IF ONLY
We use different structures with “wish/if only”, depending on exactly what we want to express.

- To express desires about the future, we often use “hope”
E.g.: I hope I will have enough money to buy these shoes next week.
I hope to have enough money to buy these shoes next week.
NOT: I wish I will have enough money to buy these shoes next week.

- We can use “+ to V” after “It’s time”, but not after “It’s high/about time”. “It’s time to think

SAVING THE RAINFORESTS OF SOUTH AMERICA
