The idea of two teams pushing backwards of forwards to each other began
in ancient Ygypt as a ceremony celebrating good harvests. The Roman army of Julius
Caesar brought it to Britain, where people quickly began to play it. Today's assosiation

The first description of English football appreared in 1175 in London. Rules of
