Getting to know the students names
Teacher and student will do a ball toss game to engage the students and to
help new students as well as the teacher become familiar with one another.
(20 minutes)
Discussion
Teacher will discuss creative writing with students and see what they
already know about creative writing. (15-20 minutes)
Creative Writing Lesson
Students will be given a lesson in which they will be responsible for creating
a story. (15-20 min)
- Students will openly discuss how they created their story for classmates
to enjoy (15-20 min)
Lesson/Discussion
Teacher will go over some of the descriptive parts of grammar (nouns,
adjectives, verbs etc.)
-Students will be able to give their input as well as examples of what they
are.
Lesson= Mad Libs
Teacher will have students participate in a few silly stories that they have
created w/ one volunteer for each story to read it aloud for the classmates.

End of class discussion
-Teacher and students will go over the lesson for the day
