I would like to introduce about myself to you.
My full name is Pham Thua Nghiep. I am a teacher. I was born in Vinh Long. It is my
hometown. I have lived here for 30 years. My hometown is very beautiful. There are
many interesting places in my hometown such as; Truong An tourist, An Binh island... If
you visit An Binh island, you will take many beautiful photos, take part in many
traditional games , eat traditional foods and meet friends there. People are friendly and
hard working. My hometown is famous for rice, fruit and vegetables. My hometown is
very hot in the summer and it rains alot in the rainy season. I love my hometown very
much because it is a place where I was born and grew up there. I try to study well to
help and buid my hometown wealthier and wealthier in the future.

I am Nghiep. I come from Vĩnh Long provice.There are six people in my family. They
are parents, sister , my wife, my daughter and I . My parents are famers. My father is
60 years old and my mother is too. They are very friendly and kind. My sister is a
worker and she is 34 years old. My wife is a teacher and she is 28 years old. She is a
good teacher. She teaches chemistry. I have a daughter. My daughter is two years old.


She is very lovely. My family is very happy . I love my family very much. Because it is
place where I was born and grew up there and every member always loves and helps
each other.

Would you like to introduce myself to you.
I am a teacher . I teach chemistry. I am working at Mang Thit high school. I have been
working here for six year. It is one of the biggest schools in Mang Thit. I have classes 2
days a Week. My school starts at 7a.m and finishes at 11.30 a.m. It is about 4 km from
my house to school. I often go to school by motobike. Teaching is hard work, but I like
my job because first I like working with children and second My work is suitable to my
major and My co – worker are very friendly and Finally teachers often have a long
summer holiday.Being a teacher, I have lots of time for my family and my friends.

In my free time, I like playing badminton. I play it every day in the yard near my house.
I like play it with my friends. They are good at playing badminton but I do not play very


well. I like playing badminton because of some reasons. First, it is a good sport and
plays easily. Second it helps me relaxed after working hard and finally It is very good
for my health and I like meet my friends every day.

I like travelling so much and I often take the trip in summer because I think that summer
is the most convenient time for teachers to travel.
Last summer I went to

Ha Tien with my family and my friends. We went there by

coach. It took us four hours to get there. We went there to relax after hard working. We
stayed at a big hotel near Ha Tien beach for 3 days. In those days. We did many things.
First We went to visit Thach Dong Cave and We had a chance to go hiking. We liked
staying inside because it was very cool. Then we had half a day swimming on Mui Nai’s
beach . It was very interesting. After swimming, We enjoyed fresh seafood together. The
last day in Ha Tien, We went to Hon Phu Tu mountain. We took a lot of pictures. We
enjoyed many beautiful places.We felt very relaxed and interested on our trip. If I have
free time. I will visit Ha Tien again.

7. Talk about your shopping habit
I like go to shopping so much. I often go to shopping at supermarket such as Big C and
Co –op mark once a month to buy necessary things. I often go to shopping with my wife


and my daughter. Before, buying any thing. I usually go around to window shop. By this
way .I know which products are on sale. Then, I able to buy necessary things with
reasonable price. I often buy many things such as new clothes for my daughter and my
wife, foods and books. I like go to shopping at supermarket very much. Because It help
me relax after hard working and I can prepair every things for a new week.
9. Talk about your festival
I would like to talk about the Tet holiday because it is on of the most important holidays
in VN and it is also my favorite festival. Tet or Luna New year falls on the first day of
January luna calendar. It is when people say goodbey to the old year and welcome the
new year.
People often do many things to prepare for Tet such as cleaning house, buying new
clothes, making traditional foods. On Tet, people often gather at their parents house.
Then we visit their relatives and friends. On this Tet, I often go to flower market with

my mother and my wife. It is very beautiful. On New Year I have a chance to watch
firework. On this first day. I ussualy go to pagoda to pray good luck and good health for
my family, And then I visit my parents and my friends.
Tet is the best time for me to relax after a year hard working
10. Talk about your futrure plans
I would like to talk about my future plans. In the future, I will go to Ha Tien next
summer with my family.
