Hello everyone,
My name is Thanh Nguyen, member of group 4. Today I am going to talk to
you about my hometown where I live. I live in Hochiminh city, which is an
important city in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh city is one of the most biggest cities in
Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh City where the economic activity is the most active, take the
lead in the country in terms of economic growth.
It was called one time was dubbed the "Pearl of the Orient" was a business center
and a meeting place of many ethnic groups, different cultures have beliefs, its own
cultural nuances contribute to a diverse culture. Cultural characteristics of this land
is a combination of traditional harmony between peoples with the culture of the
North, the West, contributed to forming the lifestyle, personality Saigon. That is the
candid man, outspoken, liberal, with bravery, dynamism, dare to think, dare to do.
Dynamic and innovative, Ho Chi Minh City in the national forefront of social
movements. Hochiminh city has many famous places such as Ben Thanh Market,
Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon, Independence Palace, Muncipical
Theatre, and so.on. Therefore, there are a lot of tourists and foreigner tourists in the
summer. There are so many modern residential area full of luxury apartment
buildings, shopping malls, and stylish restaurants such as Diamond plaza, Parkson,
Saigon pearl.etc. It’s also famous for it food and has many local specialities like
‘Pho’. They are delicious. Actually, Hochiminh city is the most beautiful. And
people is friendly, funny,and sociable. It’s also the most crowded. It has a
population of over 8 millions people. With a population growth rate too fast, no
time infrastructure upgrades overall planning, sense some people are too poor in
awareness of environmental protection and the general ... So Ho Chi Minh is
currently facing the problem of environmental pollution is too large. Current status
of untreated sewage discharged into the river system is very popular. Flooding in
the city center is at high alert, occurring both during the dry season. Well that’s it
