Responsible for the provision of financial support and
analysis to:
 University Subsidiary Companies
 Student Support
 Physical Resources
Responsible for preparation of Business Plans,
Economic Appraisals and Post Evaluation Reviews of
significant Capital Investment Projects


Finance Development Team


Purchasing
Responsible for the spending of the university
funds on goods and services.


Student Responsibilities
 From basic T-accounts to working on multi million pound
development projects.
 Opportunities to work with the University Subsidiary
companies in creating and maintaining the company’s
accounts.

 Opportunities to reconcile and complete notes for the
University’s Statutory Accounts.
 Work closely with the Financial Development Team on
the development of economic appraisals.


Where is the Finance Department
Based?
The Finance Department is based on the Coleraine
Campus. However travel to other campuses may
be required.
