To tell the time:

To talk about holiday periods:

Fixed expressions:

He is busy at the moment / at present

With days:
See you on Wednesday.

I met her on Tuesday morning.


 With dates:
They got married on February 14.

With parts of the day: (morning, afternoon, evening BUT
*at night!)
I go to school in the morning.

 With months:
My birthday is in July.

 With seasons:
I go on holiday in Summer.


IN
With years:
She was born in 2010.

 With centuries:
The company was founded
in the 19

century.

 To indicate Length of time:
I’ll be ready in 15 minutes.



AGO
Ago refers to a definite point of time in the past:

He was born 6 months ago.

The party started an hour ago.
