- What do you often do in your free time?
I often read picture story and listen to music in free time because it help
me relax and I feel comfortable after finishing study, sometimes I will play
badminton with my younger brother to keep health.
- Do you watch TV? If no, why not? If yes, which TV channel do you like best?
Why?
No, I don’t watch TV because I am living in boarding house where hasn’t
TV. Beside I am very busy for learning in school and I spend almost time for
finishing homework.
- Do you read books? If no, why not? If yes, what kinds of books do you like
best? Why?
Yes, I often read book because I feel comfortable and relax after studying.
Beside I like the story attractive and liquid sentiment of character. I see justice
and courage.
Let’s talk about your neighborhood.
- Can you tell me something about your neighborhood?
I am living in small village. In there, people grow many lemon tree and
longan. My neighbor is relative of my parents. Near my house have a long river.
In there, it has fresh country air, beautiful site and food fresh cheap rate. I feel
happy and fun when I was born and grown up in there.
- What do you like most about it?
My neighborhood is very beautiful and I special like the river in front of
my house because it very nice as well as fresh country air, beautiful site and


food cheap rate. People is living near my house is very friendly.

- Do you plan to live there for a long time? Why/why not?
Yes, I plan to live there for a long time because my parents are living in
there and I will become a teacher so I want to find work in my neighborhood. I
really like sensation in there and it is admit my mark childhood.
Part 2: Solution Discussion (4’) Situation: A group of people is planning a trip
from Danang to Hanoi. Three means of transport are suggested: by train, by
plane, and by coach. Which means of transport do you think is the best choice?
I would like to talk about mean transport for trip from Danang to Hanoi.
There are three options that I can choose train, plane and coach. After
consideration, I firmly believe that train is what I choose because of these
reasons.
First, we can save time if we go trip by plane because plane is faster than
coach and train but ticket is expensive. Although coach ticket cheaper than train
ticket but we will be travel sickness. In fact, we feel nice and interesting
experience when I traveling by train.
Beside, while we go trip by train we feel more comfortable and safer than
plane and coach. Train have restaurant car and we can sightseeing but plane is
impossible. We will worry about traffic accident when trip by coach.
From the above reasons, I think that train is my best choice for both my
friends and me.
Part 3: Topic Development (5’)
Topic: Reading habit should be encouraged among teenagers (thiếu niên).

Reading habit should be encouraged among teenagers because it brings

many benefits.
Firstly, there is no doubt that after hard working or studying we can
reduces stress by reading book, magazine, pictures story, comic and so on, we
feel comfortable and relax. It can help we decompression spiritual.
Secondly, it is obvious that if we often read book, it help us increases
knowledge. We will know the phenomenon of life, the human philosophy of
good and evil. We will know better and understand about around life and social.
Finally, the habits reading help we improve memory. When we often read
we can memory knowledge in the book and use it in study and work.
In conclusion, reading habit are many benefits so it should be encouraged
among teenagers.
- Describe the reading habits of Vietnamese people.
The reading habits of Vietnamese people are them read newspaper in
morning in coffee store and magazine. Children often read fairy tale. I think that
they read anything they want such as: picture story, books about social, people
and so on. They concern news, information to keep health, the reading habits
help them improve knowledge.
- Do you think it is better for Vietnamese people to read in foreign languages?
Yes, I think it is better for Vietnamese people to read in foreign languages
because they can improve knowledge about foreign languages such as:
vocabulary, grammar, writing and so on. Beside it help us know to the culture


around in the world are in English.
- Will technology change the way people read in the future? How?
I think that technology will change the way people read in the future.
They will read anything they want when they use computer or mobile phone.
Books, information and so on is saved in computer or mobile phone, they will
read whenever and wherever which is very convenient. They can improve
knowledge and accept information which is easy way and nature.
