1. Chocolate: Do you like sweets or chocolate?
Yeah, I have a sweet tooth. I love biscuits and chocolate and eat loads of them. My
parents told me to go easy on sugary products, but that’s easier said than done.





To have a sweet tooth: thích đồ ăn ngọt.
Loads of something: nhiều, giống như a lot of something.
To go easy on something: giảm bớt cái gì đó.
Easier said than done: nói dễ hơn làm.

2. Hats: Where do you like to buy hats?
Well, I enjoy a bit of retail therapy, and I pretty much prefer purchasing hats at a big
shopping mall. I don’t like the prospect of buying things at a small shop.



Retail therapy: lấy mua sắm làm niềm vui.
Prospect: viễn cảnh.

3. Noise: Are cities becoming noisier?
I would say yes. Urban areas are suffering more from noise pollution. Every day I have to
bear a cacophony of traffic noise and noise from construction sites. Now I feel a sense of
nostalgia of those quite old days.



A sense of nostalgia: kỷ niệm, hoài niệm.

4. Food/ Cooking: What kinds of food are popular in your country?
There are a lot of staples in my country. You can easily find a restaurant serving Pho, Bun,
Mien, Thuoc Lao and many other local specialties. I highly recommend you to try out Bun
Dau Mam Tom, which is really mouth-watering.




To try out something: thử cái gì đó.
Mouth-watering: chẩy nước miếng, dùng để miêu tả cái gì đó rất ngon.

5. Birds: Have you seen many different kinds of birds?
Not really, I am afraid. I am living in Hanoi where spotting a bird is a difficult task.
Whenever I visit the countryside, I see many kinds of furry species flying over my head. Oh,
I love spending time in a forest really.

