How hot or cold
is the weather?
Weather can be hot or cold.
Temperature is how hot or
cold something is.
You can measure temperature.

A thermometer is a tool that
measures temperature.
The numbers show the
temperature.
When it is warm, the red line
goes up.

When it is cold, the red line
goes down.
