There were an opinion that high school programme should have unpaid
community services as compulsory activities. Today, universities are providing chances
to take part in some voluntary organizations, but it is not compulsory. I totally agree that
communicate services will give many valuable skills for students.
Life skills are important and by working in organizations, teenagers can learn how
to commnunicate with others and work in a team but also affectively manage their time.
However, unfortunately, after-school time is not much, so high schools cannot hold the
outside activities for students, who just spent mostly time sitting in front of TV, browse
internet and pley video games.
Moreover, creative ability is gained when teenagers join in community services. It
is very useful to get money and have a good job. Valuable skills will become necessary
for the future, ans students also get respected in life.
Healthy life balance and exercise are strongly promoted by charity groups.
Sometimes social activities do not help students to stay active at all. It could be better if
students really become a part of activities. They will have more interesting experience
and improve the awareness. The crime level is reduced because the youth known that
they have to avoid bad things which can be dangerous for them and others.
In conclusion, high schools should obligate their students to paticipate in
communicate services. I think it is a very good idea, and I hope this programme will be
put into action for school soon.
