John Brown is a lecturer. He went to university in 1982, and was one of the best
students at that time. In 1990, he became a professor. He has been a senior lecturer since
then. He is very well-known in his teaching career. He has written five books about

A. Listening (2.0 pts)
Giáo viên đọc cho học sinh nghe (2 lần) và cho học sinh làm bài vào đề
kiểm tra, sau đó chép lại phần bài làm này vào giấy kiểm tra.
Nếu nhà trường không đủ giáo viên Tiếng Anh thì phân công giáo viên đi
lần lượt các phòng để đọc.
Chú ý:
- Trước khi đọc giáo viên dành từ 1 đến 2 phút cho học sinh chuẩn bị.
- Trong khi đọc giáo viên cần đọc với tốc độ bình thường, không đọc quá
nhanh hoặc quá chậm.

Last year, Tim was in Nha Trang with his family for half a day. They

left their hotel at 12.15 in his father’s red car and drove to Nha Trang.
They didn’t stop for petrol but they had lunch in a restaurant. He doesn’t
remember the name of the restaurant, but it was somewhere near the beach.
They had beer and seafood there. They first visited Tri Nguyen Aquarium.
They saw sharks, dolphins and turtles. There was a souvenir shop near the
exit of the aquarium, so they bought many things. His father bought him a
cap. It had a picture of dolphin on it. His mother bought a poster and he
bought some souvenirs for his friends. They had dinner at a food stall and
then they arrived home late in the evening.
