children open the presents that were in their stockings. Some families go to church. The
traditional Christmas dinner consists of roast turkey with potatoes and various other
vegetables. This is followed by Christmas pudding a dark, rich mixture of flour, fruit,
sugar, nuts, and brandy. Before the dinner people usually pull crackers small rolls of
