How they have changed


You know :There are many custom or tradition in Vietnam. But in Tet day, reunion in family is
very important.

Now let me tell you about it:
People often go motherland to join
in the Tet celebrations or go traveling
together.
On the 28th, 29th of the 12th lunar month, people very busy because they
usually clean their house to prepare the Tet day and Eve night


The custom on Tet day

On the first day of the 1th lunar month, people often
go to the pagoda or worship the Tao
God and the Buddhist to pray a good
fortune with a lucky new year.
Besides, they have many offering like:
spring rolls, sticky rice and boild chicken

On the second and third day, among family

wear beautiful cloth or wear ao dai

and visit neighbour.Then, they give lucky money for children and elderly.

Moreover, they make Chung cake or Tet cake. Next, having lunch together.
Otherwise, they go market to buy the blossoms peach to decorate their house
more colorful.

But this custom on Tet day have some changes, too. Today, Vietnamese women
broke with tradition by wearing modern ao dai on Tet day.

Moreover, they also eat Pia cake or Hoc cake instead of eating Chung cake and
Tet cake.

There are many customs or tradition in Vietnam. But the custom on Tet day is very important. Now, let me tell you about
it.
When spring comes, people often go motherland to join in the Tet celebrations. On 28th, 29th of 12th lunar month,

But the custom on Tet have some chages. The Vietnamese break with tradition by wear modern ao dai. They eat Pia
cake instead of Chung cake.
We think we should continue the customs on Tet day. Because a lot of people come back to reunite with their families

during the Tet day.
