Tapescript:

Mountain gorrilas in Africa are not as dangerous as they look. They are peaceful,
gentle, sociable, and mainly plant-eating creatures. Gorrilas live in family groups. A typical
group is led by the biggest and strongest grown-up male gorrila. Mountain gorrilas spend
much of their time eating. They eat a variety of plants, a few kinds of insects and worms. At
night many gorrilas nest in trees and some nest in grasses on the ground. Babies sleep with
their mothers at night. Life for mountain gorrilas is not always peaceful. They are
endangered because of civil wars in Africa, hunters killing them for food and their forests
being cut down. Now many scientists, forest rangers and other concerned peole are working
hard to protect mountain gorrilas and their habitats.
