It was the first time Jim went to Ho Chi Minh City with his parents. When the plane
landed at Tan Son Nhat airport, the day was fine. There was bright sun, and the sky was
cloudless and blue. It is said that Ho Chi Minh City is the city of sunshine.
The family took a taxi to the Rex Hotel, a very big hotel in the city centre. After
checking in, they went upstairs to their room on the fifth floor. Jim was eager to see the sight
of the city. Throught the window of the bedroom, he could see a beautyful picture of Ho Chi
Minh City. It was marvellous to see the city sparkling in colourful light at night.
Jim visited many places of intersting such as Nha Rong Harbor, Dam Sen Park, Suoi
Tien, and SaiGon Water Park. Ho Chi Minh City is famous shopping malls. Jim bought plenty
of souvenirs for his friends at SaiGon Tourist Trade Centre.
The next evening the whole family walked along the streets, then came into a well –
known vegetarian restaurant to enjoy delicious food. It was really wonderful.

Every day of the year throughout the world, about twenty million paper bags and
newspapers are screwed and thrown away.
Making paper requires a lot of wood pulp and the work of millions of workers. Many
countries have had plans to recycle waste paper to save money and labour. In countries where
there is the cooperation of the public, paper mills recycle as much as sixty percent of waste
paper. Their simple work is to take away the ink, crush it up and make it into pulp again. For
every ton of recycled newsprint, twelve trees can be saved. We can insist that the more paper
people save, the more trees are preserved
