I. Provide stages in developing
and launching the products
1.1 The idea
Generating ideas

Generating ideas consists of two parts: creating
an idea and developing it for commercial sale
There are many good techniques for idea creation,
including brainstorming, random association and even

daydreaming,…
Generating a long list of ideas and then cutting them down
to a very few that appear to have commercial appeal

Evaluating and screening product ideas

When you are evaluating ideas for their potential, it's
important to get objective opinions
 Many companies take their ideas to testing
laboratories, engineering consultants, product
development firms,…
 Many entrepreneurs use the Preliminary Innovation
Evaluation System (PIES) technique

Protecting your ideas
 If you've come up with a valuable
idea for a new product, you should
take steps to protect it
 If you wish to do without patent
protection, you will find it difficult to
license your idea to other companies
 If you wish to pursue a patent for
your ideas, contact a registered
patent attorney or patent agent

1.2 Research
 This enables customers to see if there’s likely to be a

demand for this type of product, and also what specific
features need to be developed in order to best meet
the needs of this potential market.
 What should you do the research to best meet the
needs this potential market?
• Industry Information
• Competitor Information
• Consumer Information

1.3 Development
 Why we have to develop products?
- The difference between successful products and bad inventions
happens in product development.
- You can learn to design your product into something that will
sell, organize testing to keep yourself in business, and develop
into a successful enterprise

 How to develop a product ?
- Identify a consumer need
- Collaborate with designers
- Come up with multiple options

1.4 Testing
After coming up with a new idea and turning it into a real
product, producer will have to test if it works or not
This helps to make sure that they have a viable product
that will be profitable,…There are so many ways to test a
new product

 Use the product yourself
 Find an audience
 Do a series of test trials
 Gather criticism
 Revise the product

1.5 Analysis
• Much effort is directed at both internal research, such as
discussions with production and purchasing personnel,
and external marketing research, such as customer and
distributor surveys,….
• With information from real consumers, they will be able to make a
number of strategic decisions that will be crucial to the product’s
success, including what price to sell at and how the product will be
marketed.

II. Some solutions to make yours products always
your customer’s wants

2.1 Do market research carefully
 Determine your potential customers
 The best and easy ways to know the needs of your
target customers are interviews and surveys
 Market research is for discovering what people want,
need or believe and it can also involve discovering
how they act

2.2 Raise quality of products
The most important goal when you want customers choose
your products
Customers always look up the best quality one wen they
are between many products of many companies
Some things you ought to do if you want to improve your
goods quality are:
 Invest more modern technologies for your
production step

 Open more training courses to your staff
 Check your products carefully before bringing
them to customers

2.3 Give a cheaper price by decreasing the manufacturing
costs
If you can lower your manufacturing costs, you can
increase your profits
How do you decrease manufacturing costs without cutting
back on how much product you are manufacturing?
1. Thinking about doing is to see if you can
reduce the price that you pay for the parts
2. Decreasing your cost of manufacturing by
increasing the amount of products that
you are manufacturing
Checking your quality and ensuring that you are manufacturing the
highest quality products you are going to be able to reduce costs
overall

2.4 Have well-decorated skin to products
 Products with nice design will attract more customers,
even when they don’t need to buy these products
 A famous brand needs printed clearly in skin. It helps
your products easy to realize and help them get above
average sales-figures

What should you do to attract more customers?

2.5 Build effective distribution channels

If you don’t have effective distribution channels, your goods
can be stuck on storage
You should:

 Use varieties of distribution channels as: retail stores, telephone
sales, websites,….
 Have to analyze advantages and disadvantages of each channel
choose the most suitable channel
 Help customers easy to find out what product they want and easy
to have some advisories.
Eg: mass products, specific products,….

2.6. Have an effective advertising campaign
- Here, 5 Tried and true Tips can help you get the results that you’re
hoping for:

1. What Makes You Stand Out From Your Competition?
- In his excellent book Reality in Advertising, author Rosser Reeves
defines what a USP is:
 Each advertisement must make a proposition to the consumer-not
just words, product puffery, or show-window advertising
 The proposition must be one the competition cannot or does not
offer
 The proposition must be strong enough to move the masses

2. Use Exciting Graphics
o People don’t always want to read everything that has
been written in an ad or an article
o Adding something visual will help draw more attention
and interest to your company
For example
o Can post a picture of what you
have to offer, or you can post
something that is going to grab
attention
o Can take the pictures yourself, or
you can look for royalty-free, nocost images online

3. Always DELIVER

 Creating an effective ad is great, but your
advertisements won’t get you far if you aren’t making
your customers happy
 If you always deliver more than they expect, then you
never have to worry about anyone being disappointed
 Then, you will see your clients come back time and time
again and they’ll be more likely to tell their friends about
your company.

2.7. Bring good customer service
Excellent customer service is the necessary thing that sets
you and your company apart from others

Strong Point
• If your customer service is poor you’ll lose out on
repeat customers

Weak Point
• When you have outstanding customer service you’ll
be able to increse your prices a few points above your
competition

1. Be Accessible

2. Listen to What Your
Customers Have To Say

3. Focus on Customer
Relationships – Not Sales!

YOUR LISTENING !
